1. Operator
This service is operated by Octus GmbH, Grabenstrasse 15A, 6340 Baar, Zug, Switzerland (UID: CHE-454.761.214).
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using azeth.ai (the "Website") and any associated software, SDKs, APIs, or tools (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
3. Testnet Alpha Status
Azeth is currently in Testnet Alpha. The Service operates exclusively on test networks (Ethereum Sepolia, Base Sepolia) and is not intended for use with real assets or in production environments. Features, APIs, and smart contract interfaces may change without notice. No guarantees are made regarding availability, stability, or backward compatibility.
4. Description of Service
Azeth provides trust infrastructure for machine participants in the digital economy, including smart account deployment, identity registration, guardian modules, reputation systems, payment processing, service discovery, encrypted messaging, and developer tools (SDK, CLI, MCP Server, REST API).
5. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
6. Non-Custodial Nature
Azeth is non-custodial. We never hold, control, or have access to your private keys, funds, or signing authority. You are solely responsible for the security of your keys and the actions taken by your smart accounts.
7. Smart Contract Risks
The Service interacts with blockchain smart contracts. Smart contracts are experimental technology. No external security audits have been performed to date. While we conduct internal testing, smart contracts may contain bugs or vulnerabilities. You acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of interacting with blockchain-based systems, including but not limited to:
- Loss of funds due to smart contract vulnerabilities
- Network congestion or downtime
- Changes in blockchain protocol rules
- Regulatory changes affecting blockchain technology
- Breaking changes during the testnet alpha phase
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Engage in money laundering, terrorist financing, or fraud
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or data
- Manipulate reputation scores or feedback mechanisms
9. Intellectual Property
The Azeth name, logo, and website content are proprietary to Octus GmbH. The Azeth SDK, CLI, and related tools are distributed under their respective open-source licenses as specified in their repositories.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. DURING THE TESTNET ALPHA PHASE, THE SERVICE IS EXPERIMENTAL AND SHOULD NOT BE RELIED UPON FOR ANY CRITICAL OPERATIONS.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OCTUS GMBH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF FUNDS, DATA, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict of law principles. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Baar, Canton of Zug, Switzerland.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a valid and enforceable provision that most closely achieves the original intent.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Impressum, constitute the entire agreement between you and Octus GmbH regarding the use of the Service. These Terms are drafted in English. In the event of any conflict between the English version and any translation, the English version shall prevail.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Website. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
